What is this meeting?

In response to the growing interest in this time sensitive topic, AIRI is conducting a special meeting this February to discuss how will AIRI Institutes design, implement, finance, and support the IT infrastructure necessary to support the massive data created by our emerging research. 

Who will attend?

Senior level IT people, financial and operational leadership personnel from AIRI Member Institutions across the country. These are the people you need to get directly in touch with your product and services.

When and where is this meeting?

All day Thursday, February 18 and the morning of Friday February 19, 2010.  Participants from outside San Diego should plan to arrive by Wednesday evening, February 17th . The meeting will be held at one of our member institutions - The Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, California.

Are there nearby hotels to the meeting?

Yes - there are three hotels conveniently located near The Salk Institute where the meeting will be held: Estancia Hotel & Spa* - 858-550-1000 (preferred hotel)* (approx. 0.37 miles); Sheraton La Jolla Hotel - 858-453-5500 (approx. 1.85 miles); or Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines* - 858-558-1500(approx. 1.20 miles). We have not blocked any rooms at these hotels, but you may ask for the Salk rate when making your reservation at either the Estancia or Hilton hotels.
