Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute (LRRI), a growth oriented contract research organization, is seeking a Corporate Controller for its Albuquerque headquarters. This leadership position is responsible for all corporate accounting functions, internal and external financial reporting, and financial regulatory compliance. With a total staff of 9, directs all general accounting, payroll, vendor payments, billings and collections and project financial analysis. Responsible for developing and maintaining internal financial reporting systems and processes necessary to provide management with the financial information and metrics needed to manage the business. Develops, analyzes and provides input on capital expenditure and strategic investments. Must be able to interact with all levels of management, as well as outside parties such as banks, auditors, government agencies, legal counsel and industry peers. Proven track record of managing change in a fast passed growing organization. Requires 10 years of experience in a contract research or services business with increasing levels of responsibility, and 3-5 years in a leadership role. CPA and government contracting background preferred. Position reports directly to the CFO.
